100% Natural Latex Mattresses With Quilting
Back Problems,
Allergies, or EMF (Electromagnetic Field) concerns? Once
you spend the night on a latex mattress, you'll wonder how you ever slept
without one. Latex dynamically conforms to you, providing superior support and
pressure relief. No more aching back caused by insufficient support, no more
aches and pains caused by inadequate relief. By
gently conforming to your every contour, latex provides superior back support
and outstanding pressure relief. Relieving pressure reduces the tossing and
turning that interrupts sleep and brings needed oxygen and nutrients to tired
aching muscles. Only latex provides you with the deeper and more regenerative
night's sleep your body needs. The
photo is a pictures of rubber trees (hevea brasiliensis). If you look near the
bottom of the trunks, you can see where the latex is tapped. Synthetic
latex is not the same. Natural
Latex
is inherently hypo-allergenic, anti-microbial and dust mite resistant, making it
perfect for allergy sufferers or anyone wanting to breathe fresh, clean air
while they sleep. In addition, natural latex is breathable, keeping you warmer in the
winter and cooler in the summer. Derived from the heven brasiliensis, or the
rubber tree, latex is the most naturally durable cushioning material available.
So while it might cost a little more initially, in the long run, only latex will
provide you with the perfect balance of comfort and support for years to come.
 | Our natural latex offers a natural
alignment of the spine, supporting the
shoulder and hip area, without
pushing against pressure points. |
 | Naturally hypoallergenic, mold resistant and mildew
resistant. |
 | Naturally anti-microbial and dust mite
resistant. |
 | Natural foam derived from the Heavea
Brasiliensis (rubber tree). |
 | Great alternative for people concerned
with EMF's. |
Our 100% natural latex mattress is
comprised of a pure natural latex core, which is 5 1/2" to 6" in
thickness. The mattress comes in three different levels of firmness: soft, firm
and extra firm. There is also a King size version that allows you to have 2
different firmnesses for when your partner wants a different firmness than you
do. It is then covered with organic cotton and pure grow wool that
is quilted to the organic cotton mattress fabric. These
mattresses end up being 6 1/2" to 7" thick.
If minimizing the movement of your bed
when your partner moves is an important concern, we recommend that you get a
mattress with either a box foundation or profile bed
frame.
The crossed out price is the
regular price. The Green price is our price. Please choose the size, the
firmness, and then click on the Add To Cart
button to add the item into the cart.
We keep our prices as low as possible without cutting into the quality of the
product.
IMPORTANT:
Mattress
Freight Quote. Shipping charges for mattresses are added after ordering.
They are not included in the shopping cart because they vary so much. If you do
not get a freight quote prior to ordering, we will get your approval of the

| What
is Natural Latex |
 | Derived from the heven brasiliensis, or the rubber tree, latex is the most
naturally durable cushioning material available. Natural latex is made from
a milky substance that drips from the rubber tree when the bark is slashed.
The process does not hurt the tree. During production, the latex resin is
whipped and then baked. The finished product is biodegradable. |

How Does a Latex System
Feel When Compared To A Coil System? |
 | Feeling of a coil system
versus a latex system. In general, a coil system pushes up against the
body for support and a latex system conforms to your body and has a much
denser feeling.

| I have allergies, what would be
good for me? |
 | Natural Latex is inherently
hypo-allergenic, anti-microbial, and dust mite resistant, making it
perfect for allergy sufferers or anyone wanting to breathe fresh, clean
air while they sleep. In addition, natural latex is breathable, keeping
you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. It costs a little
more, but in the long run, it will provide you with the perfect balance of
comfort and support for years to come. Our latex is in the form of a foam.
There have not been any reported cases of allergies to latex foam. People
that are allergic to latex, are normally allergic to the type of latex
used in making latex gloves. If you are concerned about latex allergies
and are seriously interested in our 100% Natural Latex Mattresses, please
request for a sample of 100% natural latex to be sent to you so that
you can test it on yourself. Make sure to include a mailing address to
send it to. |

| Does the Latex Bed contain a spring
system? |
 | The latex bed does not contain a spring system, it is similar to
foam beds, but natural. The bed has a 100% latex core, can be covered with
organic cotton and pure grow wool, and has an exterior fabric made of
organic
cotton (organic fabric is available but it is much more expensive). The
latex provides good support for your back while still maintaining
comfort. |

100% natural latex with absolutely
no fillers in

 |
Starts with the natural white
liquid taped from rubber trees, combined with water and whipped to a froth.
Poured into individual molds and vacuum sealed to eliminate air bubbles. Cooled
to 20 degrees for consistent cell structure. Heated to 200 Degrees to create
uniformity and density. Removed by hand and rinsed repeatedly for durability.
Finally, slow dried to cross link cells and tested for quality. The most
environmentally friendly process available. |

| Natural Latex vs.
Memory Foam |
 | Memory foam, also known as
Visco-Elastic, is made of man made chemicals. Memory foam mattresses can work well for people that do not move in their
bed. We have had customers that have switched from memory foam mattresses to our natural latex mattresses
because they told us that they felt like they were "sleeping on jello"
and "quicksand."
When sleeping on memory foam, it creates a body impression in the
mattress. And when you move, it takes a while before it goes back to shape. In
the mean time, it can feel lumpy. We have had people tell us that they
felt "sea sick" because of this. Another common problem is that
the body can sweat a lot because memory foam is synthetic and does not
breathe. Other people have told us that
they have had trouble with the chemical smells from the memory foam. Some
people describe the smell as being similar to rotten cabbage.
Memory foam mattresses outgas man made chemicals and are sold under several different names.
Some of the brand names include Contour-Pedic®, Craftmatic Adjustable
Beds®, Isotonic®, Nautilus Sleep Systems®, NovaForm®, Tempur-Pedic®, and
True Sleeper®. When researching
mattresses, make sure that you get the details on what the mattress is
made out of...no matter how slick and expensive their advertising is. Some
of these mattress companies spend literally millions of advertising
dollars every year trying to convince you that their memory foam is better
because it is high tech or developed by NASA. We do not have a big advertising budget. Instead,
our focus is putting money into the quality of the materials.
With 100% pure natural latex, it relieves the pressure points of the body as
well, but when you move in the bed, it comes back to it's original shape
quickly. So you don't feel lumps. With 100% pure natural latex beds, the room does not need
to be 65 degrees or higher. Latex is also firmer than memory foam and it
therefore has less body impressions than memory foam. You usually
will not see body impressions in an all natural latex mattress for at
least 8 years. 100% natural latex does not have man made chemicals -
including no petroleum based chemicals, no formaldehydes, no benzene, no
chemical fire retardants,
etc. Did you know that most people do not even know what their mattress is
made of? |
|
| 100%
Natural Latex versus 100% Latex |
 | Please be careful when comparing
mattresses. 100% Latex is not necessarily the same as 100% Natural Latex.
A mattress core can be 100% synthetic latex and still be considered 100%
Latex. It is not entirely natural unless it says it is 100% Natural Latex.
Also, if the price seems too good to be true....it probably is.
Manufactures do not typically use 100% natural latex because it costs so
much more to use. We keep our prices as low as possible without lowering
the quality of our products. We don't cut corners on quality. 100% Natural
Latex is the same as 100% Natural Rubber. |
|
| Odors with
100% natural latex?
|
 | All
materials have an odor to them. Unless you are very sensitive to smells, you
probably will not notice them in our all natural latex
beds. These odors are
out-gassed over time. The out-gasses of the natural materials are all
natural, not chemicals. Synthetic materials, such as synthetic latex, memory
foam, and other synthetic foams, can
out-gas toxic chemicals. All of these materials in the all natural beds
result in a bed without any irritants such as sulfur or boric acid. And
there are no plastics, polyesters that emit toxic gases. |
|
| Relieves
Pressure Points |
 | Latex is naturally
conforming to assure optimal orthopedic support in any sleep position. This
helps your body alleviate high pressure areas that can cause you to toss and
turn at night. Customers with special heath concerns, such as
Fibromyalgia, may
need to also use a 3" wool topper
on top of the mattress in order to minimize the pressure on the pressure
points of the body.
